Frequently Asked Questions

Need help. We strive to give you the best customer service experience possible. Click a question below to view the answer.

What does my child need to bring for camp?
Sunscreen, hat, water bottle, and a packed recess and lunch. Extra food and drinks are a good idea as they become extremely hungry.
What awards are there?
Over 75+ awards including trophies, Gold and Silver medallions, handballs, hats, PRIME drinks, water and certificates.
Can I win multiple awards?
Yes. You could be the best player on your court, best sport, receive a special points award, and a PRIME/bottled water drink. Well done, you deserve and earnt those 4 awards.
Does everyone get a prize/award/trophy?
No. We are generous with over 75 awards, but not everyone receives a trophy or award. We teach children that they must earn it. When they receive an award, it means a lot more; they cherish it because they know they earned it. If you disagree, please inform us on the enrolment checkout.
Referees/Umpires
Handball is self-refereed, like tennis, golf, and handball played at school. We teach children the Good Sport steps: 1. Discuss, 2. Vote, 3. Replay, and 4. Teacher. These steps teach children to fish, not give them a fish. These steps are challenging and take time to learn, but are important for developing these life long skills.
What other games do you play during camp?
Aside from four square our major tournament, we also run special tournaments like singles or doubles tournaments, team games, King of the Mountain, Beast Games, alternative rules, 1 Point Slam, and many more.
Can my child be placed with their friends?
We will try our best to place friends with friends. However, we must grade kids based on standard and age first. This promotes healthy competition. Pairing friends together or grouping students from the same school can create an unfair advantage, as they may team up.

Camps are more relaxed than school handball competitions, and there are no school ladder points. We try our best to place friends with friends. If they are not placed together on the same court during the 4-square competition (1 hour and 45 minutes), they will be together for the rest of the camp (4 hours and 25 minutes). This means that up to 71% of the time (coaching, games, and free time), they will be together.

We also conduct further grading during the first 30 minutes of the event. There are multiple factors to consider when moving a student up or down a division or court. I have 26 years of experience doing this and love doing it. Please respect our judgment.
Late enrolment
Will still be accepted.
What do you do during extra supervision?
More handball games, beat the coach, 4 square, teams games. Free time, bowling, soccer, basketball (modified versions). We give out more awards.
