No. We are generous with 50 awards, but not everyone receives a trophy or award. We teach children that they must earn it. When they receive an award, it means a lot more; they cherish it because they know they earned it. If you disagree, please inform us on the enrolment checkout.

We grade students using 5 key factors:

1. Previous results, percentile score and state rank.
2. School Year group (Years 1-12).
3. Skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) as indicated by parents.
4. School distribution (to ensure variety on each court)..
5. All data is analysed with our Ai system then double checked and adjusted manually by Dan (Director)
6. Active movement/grading during the first 15 minutes of the tournament.

Coaches may move students up or down divisions anytime depending on their ability on the day.

Handball is self-refereed, like tennis, golf, and handball played at school. We teach children the Good Sport steps: 1. Discuss, 2. Vote, 3. Replay, and 4. Teacher. These steps teach children to fish, not give them a fish. These steps are challenging and take time to learn, but are important for developing these life long skills.

Aside from four square our major tournament, we also run special tournaments like singles or doubles tournaments, team games, King of the Mountain, Beast Games, alternative rules, 1 Point Slam, and many more.

We try our best to place friends together. However, students are graded by standard and age first, since pairing friends or students from the same school can create an unfair advantage if they team up against others.

This program is more relaxed than school handball competitions, and there are no school ladder points at stake. If friends aren't placed on the same court for the 4-square competition (1 hour and 45 minutes), they'll still be together for the rest of the camp (4 hours and 25 minutes) — meaning they'll spend up to 71% of the day together across coaching, games, and free time.

We also do further grading during the first 15 minutes of the event, as there are multiple factors involved in placing a student in the right division or court. This grading reflects 26 years of experience running these events, and we appreciate parents trusting that process.
