We had an amazing experience with Dan from Handball Australia, the birthday party was incredible! The kids were fully engaged and had an absolute blast playing. The energy and excitement throughout the party were fantastic, and it was great to see all the children so happy and involved.

What stood out the most was the respect embedded in the game and encouraged among the kids. It created such a positive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone felt valued and had fun together. HA was seamless, and Dan did a great job ensuring every child was included.

My two boys, ages 9 and 6, had some private handball sessions with Dan during the school break at our place and it was an awesome experience.

Dan is friendly, professional and excellent with kids. He set up a handball court in our courtyard and taught my boys all the rules of handball, played games and had lots of fun. I’m extremely grateful for the experience. My 6 year old who had never played handball before, came home from school yesterday and told me he played handball with all his friends at lunch time.

My son Jacob attended camp this week at Moore Park.

This is his second time participating, the first was a competition in June. I just wanted to provide some positive feedback, particularly to Dan. Jacob isn't hugely into sport, and this is really the first time he's shown an interest in attending something sporty without us having to really encourage him. The way you run the camps/comps is so inclusive, teaching skills beyond just technique, such as sportsmanship, respect and resilience. I am highly impressed and think you all do a great job.

Cambridge Park Public School welcomed Dan and his team to revitalise handball for our students.

Dan provided coaching to all K-6 classes including our special education unit. He collaborated with our students to develop school rules for our handball and coached our students to understand these. We have now seen an increase in handball at play times and a decrease in incidents as students know the rules of handball. We will certainly engage Dan and Schoolyard Handball Australia again.

I have heard nothing but positive feedback from the lessons last week. The kids are buzzing with handball fever which is exactly what we wanted.

Yes, the kids really had fun and have asked to have you again.They played handball most of the day. The workshop allowed children to learn new skills in a structured manner based on their age groups. The involvement of children in working out the rules and the emphasis on sportsmanship align with MTOP Outcome 1.4, which promotes a sense of belonging and connecting with others. I was really happy to see Dan, our instructor, recognising not only the winners, but also sportsmanship. It was also nice to see the children supporting each other.
